This image is a sweet picture taken at a birthday party celebration I was hired to photograph, featuring 3 little girls who are best-est friends. They live in each others neighborhood, go to the same school, and are growing and learning together. This picture is one they will cherish forever and they will always remember this day because of it.
I just had a conversation with a friend about how precious photos are regarding our ability to retain our memories. How much do you really remember from your childhood, and how much are you reminded of through pictures?
The pictures I create are more then captured a moments, they are poignant memory reminders that are priceless to the people who they become important to. This is a charge as a photographer I do not take lightly, and is my favorite aspect of my profession.
