Tis the season for crazy schedules and taking on more than you should handle! I am in a few photography groups who are all searching for the light at the end of the Christmas Photography Session tunnel. This photographer however, has learned from past years that if I don’t plan and schedule my time and sessions for Novemember I end up missing more than I get to enjoy during the Christmas season.
My weekends used to be spent trying to sneak in hours of prepping and editing images for printing and ensuring my clients are kept in the loop as they waited on pins and needles for their prints that they planned on giving as gifts. I swore in 2013 when I realized that I was missing more than enjoying my baby’s first Christmas that I would never do this to myself again!
I sincerely hope that none of you are in that predicament right now, but if you are I hope you see that the reason we photographers plan and hold Christmas events in October and November is really for your benefit and next year I hope to see you at one of mine!
This session share is from one of my long time families whom I have had the pleasure of photographing their wedding, photographing their youngest’s newborn session and photographing family images yearly since then! To every session they bring lots of fun and an easygoing attitude that matches mine so nicely and their session is always one I look forward to. Enjoy!
