This months 10 on 10 features my husband and I and our sons in classic dramatic black & white portrait style.
Honestly, I haven’t been taking many environmental images over the past few weeks to put together a lifestyle piece for 10 on 10, so when my husband came home today I suggested kindly forced him to participate in what I knew would be lovely keepsakes for our boys. All was said and done in 10 minutes (to his pleasure) and these images just reinforce what I already know. You need to hire a professional, even if you are a professional, because the tripod can not elicit the smiles from a two year old, a professional can, and a tripod can not tell you to move this way and that to better suit the lighting…seriously.
Here are the best and the worst of this mini session. Don’t forget to follow the link at the bottom of this post to check out next in a chain of talented photographer Laura Reive of Barrie Ontario.
And Lastly, our attempt at one of all of us together…trust me, this was the best one 🙂
